Subscribers to get the benefit from the new application
US-based LocalTel Communications has launched Integra5's TV Caller ID application throughout its markets in Washington State.
According to LocalTel, as part of a three-month promotional period, subscribers of its digital TV and phone caller ID services will automatically receive TV Caller ID. Following this, LocalTel will offer it to subscribers for an incremental monthly charge.
Under the agreement signed with the State of Washington, Verizon and Qwest, the company can resell Verizon and Qwest business and residential services. This includes consumers’ monthly line charges and features such as Caller ID or Call Waiting. According to the company’s resources, currently in the Wenatchee area Verizon will provide the service and LocalTel will provide the billing.
After the services are switched to LocalTel, Verizon and Qwest will be taking over the customer care and billing for these companies, said the company. However, the consumers can continue with the same old telephone number for their convenience.
Dimitri Mandelis, president of LocalTel Communications, said: “Integra5's platform also offers compelling ROI benefits, allowing us to roll out TV Caller ID, such as personalization and social media - that can reach any subscriber device - whenever we choose.”
